The action of the drug on the Heart rate, Blood pressure,
Cardiac vagal tone, baroreflex sensitivity will be measured
beat-by-beat and simultaneously for further analysis.
The NeuroScope™ will also allow measurements of
the effects of drugs on the left ventricular contractility,
which is very important for drugs meant to tract heart
failure. The NeuroScope™ has proved to be very
useful for live monitoring of drugs that affects the
cardiovascular system and drugs that affects brainstem
functions. |
The following

Positive
ionotropic drugs-
continuous monitoring of pre-ejection period and contractility
indexes.
Beta blockers- continuous and
simultaneous monitoring of cardiac vagal tone and heart rate to
assess effects.
Anti-cholinesterase drugs- continuous monitoring of
activity using our validated clinical linear vagal scale.
Anti- cholinergic drugs-
continuous monitoring of activity using our validated clinical
linear vagal scale.
Parasympathomimetics drugs-
continuous monitoring of activities using our validated clinical
linear vagal scale.
Neuroleptic drugs- continuous
monitoring of the effects on the brainstem activity.
Vasoactive drugs- continuous
monitoring of the effects on blood pressured and the response of the
brainstem.
