Why
was the NeuroScope invented?
Since the 1970's, medical scientist
have been intensively researching how to measure cardiac vagal tone
non-invasively without exposing or inserting instruments into the
vagus nerve through which impulses from the brain pass to the heart.Annual
peer-reviewed scientific papers on this subject exceed 400 in numbers
in the 80's and now the number is in the order of 2000. The NeuroScope
was invented to measure cardiac vagal tone non-invasively in answer
to the growing interest of monitoring the nervous control of the
heart.
